There’s Greatness in You and It’s Time to Bring It Out

Give yourself some credit: You’ve been through a lot and maybe you are just tired. Let’s take a moment to appreciate our inner strength and make it come out ofThere's greatness in you and it's time to bring it out its shell. A shell created by a modern illusion of not being able to fulfill our dreams. A modern mentality that we are limited. We are not!

You can do whatever you want to do, you can achieve anything you want to achieve and you can become whoever you want to become. You have this power of greatness inside of you, no matter where you came from, your gender, your age or your surroundings.

You can achieve this potential if you know how to unlock it. But first, you have to realize that is there.

I mean really realize. Not “maybe I can do that, maybe I can do this”. It’s “I must do this!” You gotta make it a must to achieve your dreams.

The kryptonite for greatness

The killer of greatness is fear. Fear that you might get hurt, fear that you won’t be successful or fear that you will succeed and won’t be able to handle it. Either way, it’s irrational and doesn’t make any sense. Because the lack of action provides much more damage than doing it wrong. Doing it wrong is the part of getting better. You can’t get better if you are perfect, right? So, it’s natural that you screw it up, but it’s also natural that you will become better and better every time.

But when you don’t try at all, when you don’t make that phone call, when you don’t say to that special someone how much they mean to you, when you don’t appreciate what you have, when you don’t go after your dreams, the pain of regret resulted will be huge.

I am telling you from my experience. I wasn’t always the motivational speaker I am now. I was sad and depressed, and it slowly killed me inside. The regret of not doing something is enormous. Trust me. Just be bold and you will learn to succeed while doing it.

How to empower ourselves

We can train our mind and our soul for greatness. Just like we can train our body for strength. It’s the emotional “muscles” that we have to work out.

Training takes discipline, and this is the part where is hard. Hard in a way that means you have to make it a daily habit of empowering yourself. Motivation, happiness, love, these aren’t forever lasting feelings. I mean, they are eternal, but they must be lighted up every day inside our heart. If you let yourself go dormant,  all these good feelings disappear.

Bad feelings are in fact just a lack of good ones. When you are fearful, you lack courage. When you are sad, you lack happiness. When you are depressed, you lack motivation. When you are selfish, you lack love.

That means all you have to do is to make these feelings appear inside yourself. Training your emotions it’s not something you learn at school, sadly enough (at least that’s my case for the schools in my country).

Emotions aren’t this uncontrollable energies

We are falsely educated they are. Emotions can be disciplined, exactly like any other habit. You can train yourself to enter a certain state. Your body movement, what do you say to yourself, on what do you focus, all these things influence the way you feel.

If you use them together to empower yourself, with working out, out loud motivational speaking and focusing on your dreams, loved ones and gratitude for what you have; you will activate the strength in you.

Make a daily habit for 30 or 60 minutes to give yourself the power to tackle the day and your dreams at full potential. You will feel stronger than ever! 💪

Let’s finish with this beautiful quote about greatness:

You can never let anything distract you from your main objective. My only goal is to be great. That’s all I want. That’s all I ever aspire to be. Greatness is something nobody can ever take away from you, no matter what happens. So I put all my energy and focus into my craft.
